LIVE BLOG -- So You Think You Can Dance continues tonight as the winner of season 8 will be crowned.

The show opens with a group routine choreographed by Sonya Tayeh.

Judges tonight include Lil' C, Robin Antin, Tyce DiOrio, Sonya Tayeh, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Mary Murphy and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe.

The final four are introduced and the judges give them some advice.

Then, they showed a recap of the season.

Mary chose the Contemporary routine with Kent & Sasha to be re-performed.

Nigel chose the Hip-Hop routine with Melanie & Marko, choreographed by Napoleon & Tabitha to "I Got You" by Leona Lewis. I've actually not seen this routine. I thought it was quite good. I was particularly impressed by Melanie.

Robin picked the Jazz routine with Lauren Froderman & Tadd.

Lil' C picked the Hip-Hop routine with Miranda & Robert. This routine makes me upset that Miranda got eliminated so early.

Cat got to pick a routine and she picked the Top 8 circus group routine.

A tap routine was performed by Nick, Jess and the winner of So You Think You Can Dance UK, Matt Flint. It was really good. I really liked Matt and Jess. They just have that Broadway feel that I like in these type of routines.

Next, Mary picked for Melanie & Neil Haskell to perform their Contemporary routine, choreographed by Mandy Moore to "Total Eclipse Of The Heart".

Jesse picked the Contemporary routine with Allison Holker & Marko, choreographed by Sonya Tayeh.

Tyce picked the Top 10 girls group routine, choreographed, again, by Sonya.

They recapped last night's show and then it was time for the first elimination. The person finishing in 4th place is... Tadd.

Next, Lil' C picked Ashley & Chris to perform a jazzy looking routine with jail bars. I haven't seen this routine and I don't even know these dancers. I actually didn't like this that much.

Then, they showed the Top 4 going to the Glee 3D premiere.

Next, Nigel picked the Hip-Hop routine with Sasha & Twitch, choreographed by Christopher Scott.

Sonya picked the Top 10 guys group routine, choreographed by Christopher Scott.

Jesse picked Caitlynn & Pasha Kovalev's Argentine Tango routine.

Mary picked Melanie & Marko's "Turn To Stone" routine, choreographed by Travis Wall. This routine is amazing. I think Travis will get an Emmy nomination for this.

Up next, another elimination. The dancer coming in 3rd place is... Marko.

The final routine of the season will be Melanie & Sasha's Jazz, choreographed by Sonya Tayeh.

Coming in 2nd place is... Sasha.

The winner of So You Think You Can Dance season 8 is Melanie Moore! Congrats to Melanie!

I think both of these girls are fantastic dancers. Even now I can't decide between them. I feel happy for Melanie but I feel sad for Sasha that she didn't win. Another season is over but I can still go back and see some routines that I missed. Hopefully, I will also have time to watch So You Think You Can Dance Canada.
