So You Think You Can Dance Canada continues tonight as the Top 8 danced for Canada's votes.

The judges tonight were Mary Murphy, Blake McGrath, Tré Armstrong and Jean-Marc Généreux.

Jordan & Adam

Style: Hip-Hop
Choreographer: Luther Brown

Mary thinks that Jordan's the girl to beat. She think that Adam is improving every week and coming on strong. Blake thought they smashed it so hard. Blake took his words back and said Melissa better watch out for Jordan. He thought Adam was fantastic, too. Tré thought Jordan was phenomenal and that Adam was perfection. Jean-Marc thinks that Adam is a beast. He thinks that Jordan is like a video vixen. The thought that they always give it 200%. This season has such amazing dancers. I thought they were both fantastic. I thought they had the groove and were in the pocket and all that good stuff.

Melissa's Solo

I've thought all of Melissa's solos have been amazing and this one was no different.

Adam's Solo

Adam gave a pretty good solo.

Lindsay & Shane

Style: Contemporary
Choreographer: Stacey Tookey

The judges gave them a standing ovation. They all pretty much loved it. I loved it. I thought it was an amazing piece with great storytelling. Shane is my favourite guy.

Christian's Solo

Christian did kind of a typical Ballroom solo.

Denitsa's Solo

Really sexy solo by Denitsa.

Christian & Denitsa

Style: Samba
Choreographer: Gustavo Vargas

All the judges liked it a lot. Tre said it was an urban Samba. I thought they were great. I thought Denitsa was more comfortable with the routine than Christian and so I thought she looked more natural.

Lindsay's Solo

Lindsay gave a beautiful solo. I agree with Blake that Lindsay has been overlooked by the judges. She's an amazing dancer.

Shane's Solo

Another great solo by Shane.

Melissa & Matt

Style: Jazz
Choreographer: Melissa Williams

The judges gave them a standing ovation so I guess they loved it. I thought it was great but not standing ovation worthy. Melissa is an amazing dancer, though. Matt is good but has some issues as Blake pointed out.

Jordan's Solo

I thought this was one of Jordan's weaker solos.

Adam's Solo

It was a nice solo by Adam but it seemed like it was just a bunch of random moves put together. I don't know what to make of Adam as I haven't seen enough of him.

Top 8 Routine

Really? They did a Jive? Not bad considering most of them are Jazz/Contemporary dancers.

Final Thoughts

I thought it was a great show. I think it helps that they only got one routine each. Having said that, I think they should have two routines each next week. I think this is the best Top 10 in terms of dance talent in all four seasons of the show. When is the tour? I want to go!
