The show opened with a beautiful group routine by the Bangarra Dance Company. Then Natalie revealed that the third prize that the winner of this season would have to choose from was a starring role in the Australian version of Hairspray (Jason Coleman is involved with the show). The other prizes which have been highlighted in previous weeks were a contract with the Sydney Dance Company or the chance to join Jason Gilkison's 'Burn the Floor' cast.

The bottom 3 were announced: Nick & Grace, Jess & Doug, Kieran & Carly.

Adam Lambert was on next, then the girls were called to perform their solos, followed by the boys. Then they went to decide who was going home.

Judges comment on the solos: They thought Jess had the obvious best girl solo so they sent her back first. Between Carly and Grace they decided to send Grace home.

Kieran danced a jive solo and the judges thought they were let down by him. They also thought Doug's solo was just a succession of tricks they have already seen before. They sent Nick back first, then between Kieran and Doug they decided to send Doug home.

Nick and Jess will be a new couple.

In my opinion, it was the right decision. I was really worried about Nick being in the bottom 3 and was hoping out of who was chosen that Grace and Doug would be the ones to go. I think Nick and Jess could be a real power couple and am pretty excited about that! I think Jess had the best solo tonight.
