So You Think You Can Dance UK continued last night as the Top 12 performed for Britain's votes.

In the rehearsal videos, each dancer talked about that they liked best and least about their partners.








Again, I thought it was a pretty good show. I have a love-hate relationship with the judges. Sometimes I find them funny, other times I find them annoying. I like Sisco Gomez's enthusiasm but I don't like how he poo-poos on technique. I don't think he would like it if I poo-pooed on his genre's technique. Actually, I like all the judge's enthusiasm; They make Nigel look almost invisible.

One of the things that I'm really enjoying from this show is seeing the routines from the new choreographers.

As for the dancing, I agree with the judges that Yanet and Robbie were the weakest. What a turn of events from last week. Beyond them, I actually liked everyone else.

I no longer dislike Charlie. She's a much better dancer than I thought she showed during her audition. I thought it was interesting that Tommy complained about not wanting to be a prop in the routine. I respect him for standing up for himself. The choreographer isn't going to be the one voted off if Britain doesn't think he did enough in the routine.

I still don't get why they are nice to Gavin. I thought he was a trained Contemporary dancer. Some of the judges are treating him like he's an untrained dancer. If he has little training, then in my opinion, I don't think he's good enough for the competition. Lizzie and Mark have little or no training but they are excellent dancers within their own genre. That's the difference. Chloe is still amazing.

Alastair and Mandy were really good. I can see where Louise Redknapp is coming from, though, when she said that there were some parts where the chemistry wasn't there. But having said that, I thought they were the most polished routine that was outside of their style. Yes, better than the Contemporary, which I thought was overrated.

Lizzie and Mark were far from perfect. The were definitely a bit clunky but I'll agree with the judges that the impressed for being untrained dancers.
