SEMI-LIVE LOG (I don't know why it's semi-live. Probably because I didn't start it at the beginning of the show) - So You Think You Can Dance continued tonight as one more guy and one more girl were eliminated from the competition. The Top 8 usually provides a shocker elimination. Will it happen again?
To be honest, it's happened so often that it's not a surprise anymore.
The Top 8 performed a Jazz routine choreographed by Sonya Tayeh. I thought it was a nice routine.
Up first were the guys. Russell was first to be announced safe. Next, Legacy was told he was not safe. Jakob was announced safe, which left Ryan as the other guy in the bottom 2.
Mary said that Ryan has been better outside his style than inside his style. She said that Legacy has really grown and that she didn't think he could dance outside his style and that he really proved her wrong.
Up next were the girls. Kathryn was the first girl to be told she had made it into the finale. Ellenore was then told that she was not safe. Next, it was Ashleigh and Mollee. Ashleigh was safe and Mollee was in the bottom.
Adam was asked his thoughts.Oh my word, Adam had many words. He said he thought Mollee had her best night as night but maybe it was too late. He said her partnership with Nathan didn't help her. He said it wasn't Nathan's fault, and that it was just how the partnership went. Adam then went on a tangent about how amazing Kathryn was in the Cha Cha and that maybe it was the best performance of the season and compared Kathryn to Jeanine, saying that Jeanine's win was a surprise to him and maybe the same thing is happening with Kathryn. OK, Adam, way to jinx her.
Up next, some Asian girl group called the Wonder Girls performed a song. Their singing was pretty average but they were cute.
Legacy, Ellenore, Ryan and Mollee then performed their solos. Ellenore seemed to dance less quirky than usual. I liked Mollee's solo, although she seemed a little behind the music but it was my 2nd favourite solo from her. Legacy and Ryan's solo were pretty typical of what they usually do.
Up next, American Idol winner, Kris Allen performed one of his songs, "Live Like We're Dying".
Next, the eliminations. First, the girls.
The girl going home was...
Mollee Gray
I'm actually sad to see Mollee go even though I think she should be the one to go. She had been getting better every week and had been growing on me. I guess I'm now somewhat of a Mollee fan.
The guy going home was...
Legacy Perez
O-M-G. I guess this is the shocker! No Kathacy reunion

OK, I was still a little bit shocked, even after 10 seasons of SYTYCD.
