So You Think You Can Dance continued tonight as one more guy and one more girl will be eliminated from the competition.
The show started with a group routine choreographed by Wade Robson.
The first couple announced safe were Ashleigh & Jakob. The first couple in the bottom 3 were Karen & Kevin.
Next, Ellenore & Ryan were announced safe. Noelle & Russell were safe as Channing & Victor were in the bottom 3.
The guest performers did a Bollywood routine to "Desi Girl". I didn't really like it that much.
Karen did a solo to "Break On Through (To The Other Side)" by The Doors. I thought it was pretty bad. It looked like some weird combination of Latin and bad Contemporary.
Kevin did a Hip-Hop solo to "Freeze". I thought it was pretty average.
Channing danced a Contemporary solo to "The Face" by RyanDan. I thought it looked a bit desperate. She looked like she went off balance and almost fell over after one of her moves.
Victor danced to "Baby's Romance" by Chris Garneau. He did a lot of pirouettes.
Mollee danced to "Let Me Think About It". I thought her solo was the best one. It looked like the most prepared solo.
Nathan danced to "So Insane". He also did a pirouette, not as many as Victor, though.
There was a musical guest. I didn't get her name cause my signal went out. I also have no idea what the judges said but apparently the girls decision was unanimous.
The girl going hom was...
Channing Cooke
Channing was starting to grow on me but probably because she started getting mainly Contemporary/Jazz routines after Phillip left. If Mollee went instead of her, it wouldn't have upset me, but Mollee did have the best solo tonight, in my opinion.
The guy going hom was...
Kevin Hunte
I guess he didn't do enough pirouettes. I thought Kevin had more bad performances than good performances so I'm neither surprised nor disappointed but I wouldn't have been upset had Victor gone home. Victor has gotten his style or something similar pretty much every week and he has yet to impress me. To me, that's a good enough reason to send someone packing.
